Iced Adaptogenic Chocolate Matcha

The theme is chocolate & I find a can put it in just about everything, including matcha...

I am a coffee lover through and through but that doesn't mean there isn't room for a little Matcha love in my life.  Matcha is an antioxidant power house full of EGCg, Chlorophyll, and L-Theanine (a natural stress reliever) that when combined with the natural caffeine content in this beautiful green powder makes for the perfect afternoon pick me up or pre-workout.  And how does one improve on that?  By adding chocolate of course!

What You Need

1/2 bottle of Pop and Bottle chocolate milk* 

1/2C filtered water

1tbsp hemp hearts

1 1/2tsp Wild Foods Co Matcha

1tsp Wild Foods Co Coco Reishi Blend

1/2tsp Wild Foods Co Ashwaganda

1tsp coconut oil

The Method

Pour your chocolate milk, filtered water and hemp hearts in your blender and blend until combined and frothy.  Add you matcha, adaptogens and oil and blend again until well combined.  Pour over ice and enjoy!

Tips:  

1- You can use any brand of matcha you like but make sure it is ceremonial grade for the best taste and nutritional benefits.

2- Adaptogens can be subbed out for any adaptogens that you are currently using or left out entirely.

*Can't find Pop and Bottle chocolate milk in your local grocer, sub out for chocolate almond milk or sub out for regular almond milk and 1tbsp unsweetened cacao powder.
